The BOOSTER is a precision climbing shoe, but is still flexible enough for smearing. Asymmetrical and downturned shape with a medium-to-high angled toe box. Made in Asolo (Italy).

- UPPER: Multi-panel upper for best custom moulding fit. Full microfiber with twin Velcro straps.
- INSOLE: A cleverly-shaped minimalistic Flexan 1.0mm insert with a floating big toe pad for ultimate sensitivity. Its supporting strip runs along the foot.
- ACTIVE RANDING: The DTS active randing system provides tension in two different strengths on either side of the foot. This torque helps drive power towards the big toe and further enhances the asymmetrical shape. The PAF System is an innovative heel system that helps both spread the force of the heel tension and increase the fit of the heel.
- SOLE: 3.5mm 1/3 length XS Grip 2 sole for excellent flexibility.
Technical Features
- PAF System: PAF is an innovative heel system that helps both spread the force of the heel tension and increase the fit of the heel. The aggressive tension-rubber is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the achilles tendon and connected with softer rubber, that works like a bridge and allows full adaption to the shape of the heel. The holes on the side of the heel indicate the tension applied, which varies between 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for mid tension and 3 holes for strong tension.
- DTS Tension: DTS tension system adapts perfectly to the dynamics of the foot in motion. The Differentiated Tension System concentrates power onto the big toe without interfering on the fit in other parts of the shoe. This helps keep the foot and toe in optimal position for power transfer and precision.
- M50 Rubber: M50 Rubber is our softest rubber compound offering the best levels of adaptability to the natural curves of the foot and toes. This morphing rubber compound, developed with Davos®, gives a Shore A rating of 50, making it perfect for use in our SRT system, toe patches and strategic positioning around the shoe upper.
- It can be resoled: This shoe can be resoled in an offical SCARPA resoler. Take your shoe/boot resoling before it's too damaged.
